Sweet! I never did beat the first one, now I can!
Sweet! I never did beat the first one, now I can!
The first and second are the best. The third was atrocious.
The first and second are the best. The third was atrocious.
no wonder they gave out the third for $1
The first and second are the best. The third was atrocious.
Without spoiling can you tell me if they fucked up the Markers and did a Disney Ending like "and then the bad guys were ded nd issaac saved universe the end"? Or if they gave the Markers some idiotic bullshit origin story like "it was all aliens afterall!!"? The sole reason why I haven't played the third is exactly that. It would completely destroy what I loved about the first 2, not exactly knowing what this weird ass rock is actually up to. I loved how freaky it was and you could never really know what was happening.
are these on purpose or are these accidents
are these on purpose or are these accidents
who gives a toot its a free game
well seeing as in the origin store the game has a "on the house!" label attached to it...

"everything is free...for a price."
Play 3. It wasn't as amazing as DS2 was for me but I still liked it a lot.
Cool I stopped playing somewhere at the start, now I know what I'll do for Easter. Maybe even make some fan art again. I loved Dead Space, I even read Martyr and it was great!
You guys have gotta stop finding reasons to dislike origin, despite it being made by EA you've gotta admit origin's been a fucking awesome platform so far, and would've succeeded miles ahead of what it has done if steam didn't exist
The only reason I ever use Origin is to get free games. Seriously, I've only turned it on three times. Once to get BF:1942 free, once to get BF3 free and now to get DS free.
the port is pretty sluggish
not if you disable vsync
Well I just got a massive fucking memory leak from trying to get this game from the store. Origin started trying to update itself and it all went downhill from there. One reboot later I tried again and it asked to provide feedback. I gave them this [t]http://i.imgur.com/GEdNDvC.png[/t]
not if you disable vsync
When I first launched the game I thought it was broken but it was just using vsync
not if you disable vsync
You need to enable manual Vsync outside the game or else the games framerate will be too high causing the door near the start of the game to become broken and the necromorph and its victim don't even appear when the door "opens" if that happens.
So it might've been a problem on my end, but when I tried to play it (from Humble Bundle ages ago), the aim lagged behind the actual mouse movement and it felt really awful. Is that normal for this port, or an end user problem?
whoops! Didn't realize i already owned it so now i have 2
3 MAY have been a good game on its own, but compared to 1 and 2 it was fucking shit

The weapon customizing bit was cool for 3, but 9 times out of 10 I ended up using upgraded versions of the default weapon configs. Force gun, contact beam, plasma cutter, pulse rifle, etc. I didn't like the nerf that the pulse rifle kept getting though... It was so badass in the first one, and the alt was amazing. As for the story, I can't wait for the next whatever to come out, still some stuff to do with the story.
Booted up Origin. Game get. Closed out Origin.
I don't see what people think was so terrible about Dead Space 3. Sure it had problems, but it was still a good game. The only complaints I had were that Carver got no screen time in the single player so his and Isaac's friendship by the end made no sense, and that they made Isaac sane again and Carver was the crazy one for no reason. In Dead Space 4 I seriously hope the focus of Isaac and his fight against himself instead of just brushing it off. Also any complaints of "It wasn't scary!" are dumb, you can't make necromorphs scary after 3 games, not when they stopped being scary 2 hours into the first game. Dead Space has always been an action horror series, deal with it.
Play 3. It wasn't as amazing as DS2 was for me but I still liked it a lot.
I loved everything about DS3, especially the crafting, but it was way too easy.
i got this not knowing i already had it and i now somehow have two copies in my library shit, this is going to bug me for a while

They literally made the end DLC.
