I decided to build myself a new PC for the new year, and have been orienting myself towards Mini-PCs, budget was £600 and I already have a modular 700w psu from last years build and my hard-drive + ssd array.
The parts are:
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/395079 - BitFenix prodigy
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/410726 - Corsair H55
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/288743 - Gigabyte Socket 1155 M-ITX motherboard
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/349029 - I5 3570k Processor - Probably going to overclock to at least 4ghz (Please comment whether you think this is feasible)
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/393522 - Asus GTX 660ti
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/342352 - 8gb Crucial Ram
I'm going to use it for mostly programming, a lot of garry's mod, webdev and the occasional game such as bf3 or skyrim
Three questions, Is the BitFenix a good and nice case to work with, and will the parts fit, and is that a good selection of components?
The Bitfenix Case is one of the most easiest cases I have had to work with. I went from a full tower to this and don't regret it. SO much nicer to be able to carry my computer around like a console for LANS.
I was able to fit a H100 and a AX850 in there. It will fit a 160mm PSU, but it took me and a friend to push it in while I screwed the backplate on. It works, but it isn't a fun experience.
I'm not sure about the Gigabyte board, but I am rocking the ASrock mini ITX and am happy as can be! Though please don't even look at the EVGA Stinger, I got that board first and the bios is extremely finicky.
Overclock that GPU btw, the dual fans let it get to 680 performance really easy. I just used the Asus GPU tweak and used a setting recommended by a reviewer.
With my H100, I can achieve a 4.8ghz OC with a max temp of 63c. I imagine you will get to about 4.5ghz with the same temps.
Other then that you did a good job choosing parts! Good luck.

Get some braided cables later if you can to make it look nice too!

Thanks a bunch for that, I'll go for the asrock mobo then, as you've had positive experiences with it.

Yeah, also consider the MSI board that was just released, it and the ASrock are basically equal. I just didn't get the MSI one cause of the blue PCI slot would have fucked up my color scheme. XD
Here is a very handy review for comparison.

I'll take a look at the MSI board too, I also purchased some white braiding. Also, how much noise does your GPU through out? I want this to be a fairly quiet build.
Also, is this the MSI motherboard? http://www.ebuyer.com/419973-msi-h61i-e35-w8-socket-1155-vga-hdmi-6-channel-audio-mitx-motherboard-h61i-e35-w8

The GPU is near dead silent, and barely audible at full load.
And no, it appears that site doesn't have either the Asrock or MSI board. I really would look up reviews on Gigabyte if you have to buy from this site then, GB always seem like a sketchy company to me.

Sorry to be a pain, but would you mind posting the full name/model number of the asrock and msi boards please
You're not going to be able to overclock with an H61 motherboard, and more than likely you won't be able to use an Ivy Bridge CPU in it without having a Sandy Bridge one at hand to update the BIOS. Look for a Z75 or Z77 ITX board.

Yeah just realized that, and am now looking at this http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B007OCD3C4/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LGA_1155#Ivy_Bridge_chipsets It needs to be a Z75 or Z77. Any other Ivy chipset only allows base clock overclocking which will do jack shit for performance.

Yeah the title was incorrect on that amazon link, need to be more careful next time
