Holy shit. They actually thought they could ask for that much money for this sorry excuse of a PC version?
I'd expect that from a 2-3€ mobile port, not a 13€ AAA game by a major publisher. Oh well, at least it's not 60€.

Honestly, the most mystifying thing to me is how pressing Escape instantly closes the game.

They knew you'd be so fucking embarrassed playing this game that you would need an instant escape should anyone walk in and catch you.
At least the keybinds don't suck as badly (you can only rebind certain keys), and other than framerate issues, it's better than the dark souls port and if the DSfix guy could fix that hopefully he can fix this. (because I'm kind of enjoying the game)

Brings back the memories of the DMC3 port that had Alt+F4 as the only way to close the game.
There are some AMD specific issues with the fix atm, as well as some general issues, but it looks pretty good. Got a native 3200x1800 screenshot and it looks really nice.

and downscaled to 1080p looks great too.

Disney Infinity 2.0 on the PC, that came out like last week, is the same way.
Hope we're able to mod the PC models and textures like people were able to mod the 360 models and textures. I'd like to use the cinematic models in gameplay. (higher-poly for example arms have 8 sides rather than 6)

If it can be done on a console
it can be done on PC twice as fast

Escape key serving as instant-quit is par-standard in Japan as far as I know.
Ever heard of the Boss-Key?

If there was one thing FF13 was never lacking in, it was graphics. That game consistently impresses me with what it got away with on PS3 and Xbox hardware.
While it's cool for Durante to do this, I doubt there's much else he can do to make the actual game any better. Unlocking the framerate and enabling better resolutions can only do so much for an overly linear experience with dull characters.
