So I've been looking into building my first computer and getting it right to play games, and just to add to it BF3 at best graphics. So I was wondering if I need any changes to my current plan at the moment. My budget would range from $800 - $1,000USD
Case: Fractal Core Design 3000 ATX Mid Tower
CPU: Intel Core i5-2450 Quad-Core
Mobo: ASRock Z77 Extreme4 LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
Memory: CORSAIR 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM
GPU: Sapphire Radeon HD 7850 2GB 256-bit
Hard Drive: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7,200 RPM 3.5" Internal HD
Power Supply: Antec NEO ECO 620C 620W
OS: Windows 7 Professional
Any tips?
Well, if you're going to buy windows then at least buy Ultimate and maybe get an SSD as well? Other than that though, it's pretty decent.

He doesn't need ultimate.
Well, it could use some improvements
Get an Ivy Bridge 3570K, and change the HDD to a samsing spinpoint F3 (Also 1tb)
And you don't need win7 ultimate, but if you can get it for cheap, go for it.

Eh, I guess so. I was hinting he doesn't need to buy it at all.

Easy with that.

This is a great build, it's a little over, but it's well worth it. $1077 - $40 mir = $1037 shipped.

I'll ditch Pro for now, and why a SSD? Anything better about it than a HDD? Still fairly new to computer parts and whatnot.

I'll check out the Samsung HDD. I like the Ivy Bridge but it has an integrated graphics card, that something I gotta look out for?

No, when you plug in a dedicated card, it turns it off. Consider my build, especially since there is over $120 in discounts. A ssd will make windows load faster and games load faster. But it costs a lot more. If you raise your budget you can squeeze one in there, or lower the gpu to a 7850 or something.
LOL OMG dont get an AMD graphics card right now!.
The GTX 670 is such a great deal if you get an AMD card you basically fuck yourself in the arse.
Also having a good integrated graphics card is good since your mobo has the Virtu MVP technology which enables you to run both the discrete and the integrated graphics card together like a sli, giving about 10% more performance.

You're dumb. The 7870 is a fine card and is $100 cheaper than the 670. Go be a fanboy elsewhere.
Also:
The 7870 is a good deal, especially with the discount.
