Vastly superior ? Ehh NV has better gameplay than FO3 but I like the story of FO3 more than NV, and I like capital wasteland a bit more and FO3 has better radio stations ( THIS IS THREE DAWG WAUUUUU )

I think you can re-enable gore through a mod or just adding a setting in Fallout.ini with bDisableAllGore=0

You're honestly better off getting those from GOG.com, cheaper and you get more goodies with them.

I can run New Vegas alright on a 1.6ghz celeron, 1GB ram and a 9400gt. I think it's more heavy on the GPU than anything else.

FO3's Capital Wasteland WOULD have been better but there are invisible walls everywhere and it's pretty much unexplorable. In New Vegas you can go anywhere you see.
