What are your main "pet peeves" about mics in online games? - General

Besides the obvious "squeaker" thing what other pet peeves would you have? I'm mostly asking since I plan on using my mic for other games soon and I'd like to know what gets people annoyed since I'm probably a little more young than the usual person with a mic :v:

When every single person with a mic talks at the same time

people with shit mics inaudible people people with impossible-to-understand accents (althought that falls into the inaudible people category)

When you can hear the game's sound through people's mics, or music.

When you have multiple people screaming down the mic and you're trying to talk to someone.

Children

Pets or siblings making noise in the background. [editline]12th August 2013[/editline] People using them to play music for everyone.

Multiple players speaking at once

little kids.

When someone has their mic too close to their mouth and you can hear them breathing into it. Drives me insane.

People eating loud shit with their mics right in front of their mouth. Can't stand it. I mute my mic when I eat, why can't they do the same? :v:

Hearing them at all. I'm sorry competitive types, but I'm only here to blow shit up. I don't care about winning, I don't care if my KDR is absolute shit, and I don't care if my W+M1 Pyro strat is straight out of an imgur infographic. So no, I don't want to hear you. At all. I don't care if you think I could improve my strat, I don't care what you think about my KDR, I don't care if you think I should play a different way. I joined a 36 man 24/7 2Fort server for a damn good reason: I'm just here to watch things explode and laugh. Since you can't stop shouting about it and trying to get me to stop having fun and play srs I just turn voice off outright.

When they have the automatic mic on. So the mic automatically picks up and shares every goddamn noise on their end. Frustrating as all hell.

When you can hear background noise (like a TV playing) but the person never says a word. And they just press their mic button every so often without actually saying anything. It's so weird.

When people are trying to use voice chat to communicate and plan a strategy, only they can't because someone has their mic on and is blasting music/"comedy" clips/etc.

People who tell you to shut up instead of muting.

I hate those people that specifically make noise when you're trying to talk and then don't shut the fuck up in an attempt to make you leave.

When some tone deaf kid sings over the mic.

mics in general. typing is better

Bluetooth mics on PS3, they sound like shit and there's usually someone yelling in spanish on the other end.

People with shitty mics that pick up every little noise in the entire building. I'm guilty of this, and to make matters worse I have a mechanical keyboard.

games like tdu2 where the mic is always on and you have to disable it through an obscure checkbox in settings or else everything you do is broadcasted
