I was going to go with a 120hz monitor but the ones i found were awfully expensive. So i settled with a cheaper one with a great response time and decent backlighting.
Any thoughts or comments?
Yeah that build looks good, really similar to mine. But one caveat, the HAF 912 is on the small side and if you have a really large video card, you may have to remove the drive bays. That is all I have to say, also I suggest the MSI Z68 GD65 mobo, is the one I have and it's working really well for me so far.
I hope it's not too small. Worst case scenario i'll have to remove the drive bays i guess.
ok so i ordered all my parts but the case is backordered by a week. i am cancelling that order. what's a better size case i can get for around $70-$100?
Antec 300 is still decent.
Just saying here, the HAF 912 will be able to fit any video card.
You should probably buy everything, or at least most of it, from the same website, as shipping will get more expensive, in the end, really.

I ordered half the parts from one and half from another, the shipping didn't seem to get any pricier.
They didn't even combine stuff into a single box when i bought them on Newegg. They seem to have shipped everything in separate boxes judging by the amount of invoices i'm getting :/
Okay, fair enough then. Well anyhow, looks like a fine build to me, really.
I may have to upgrade my memory but for now i think 2x2gb should be fine.
