Yay, now I can be bombarded with even more advertisements and ruthlessly censored music!
Ew.
Good for them?
Are the music free to stream?
NOOOOO
Remember when the Xbox 360 used to be a game console?
who gives a shit?
You know it's shit when they have a censored Fuck You.
http://www.shacknews.com/article/72758/xbox-360-adds-vevo-music-service
It's refreshing that canada, once again, doesn't get shit.
But why
Are the music free to stream?
Is anything Microsoft release free?
lmao a "service" for music videos that you have to pay for. Screw that, pulling up Vevo on Youtube isn't even worth the hassle.
Remember when the Xbox 360 used to be a game console?
holy fuck, because it isn't allowed to offer more media than just games.
Is anything Microsoft release free?
But if I already have LIVE Gold, can I get the music videos without spending more money?
Doesn't the PS3 have VidZone, which basically does the same thing, but for free?
Vevo is absolutely fucking terrible... Look what they did with Johnny Cash's song.
VEVO didn't do that, though. That's just some remixer. Honestly I don't see where all the hate for VEVO comes from. It's just a collaboration between record companies that lets them have their videos on YouTube while still making money, effectively solving the problem with music videos and YouTube. Maybe you americans were happy with the way music videos were presented before VEVO, but most of them were blocked in the rest of the world so go figure.
But if I already have LIVE Gold, can I get the music videos without spending more money?
Doubt it. I think they still charge for other services, Facebook, Youtube, etc. The only free one is Bing search as far as I'm aware.
