.. isn't this just the same kind of tech that was used in star wars the force unleashed?
I'm blasted away.
I really don't think that gameplay is pre-rendered like some people are saying.
What they explained here is completely possible in real time. I honestly think it's just the acting that is making it look that impossible level of smooth.

Not "bad game" artifical either, just plain "wtf this is unlike any fuckup I've ever seen" artifical.

Yeah. It's still pre-alpha so I mean obviously stuff will change and be improved. I think if this was pre-rendered they might have threw in better animations for the G36C at least?

It doesn't say in the article what the tech they're using ius called, but TFU used "Digital Molecular Matter"

The hostage NPC looked faked as fuck, otherwise everything looked pretty gameplay-ey minus the bullshit coordination and teamwork "voice chat".

The only time I would consider the hostage not gameplay-ey would be when she shouted into the camera. But I mean really how hard can it be to make the AI say something and look at something when a certain object (the drone) comes into proximity.
The rest of it she was just really being picked up and thrown about like the part near the end where she is being escorted by the swat units.

so if terrorists decide to set up camp in a rural home and there's a woman inside, they should let her go because she's a woman? how would this be any different than if it was a man they had?
