Responds pretty much nothing.
If they don't want to say anything, then I guess we are not allowed to know what happened.
HL3 dev team fired.
If they don't want to say anything, then I guess we are not allowed to know what happened.
No company releases information about lay-offs, why would Valve?
This is far too personal for any company to release information about. Hell i wouldn't even be surprised if half of the remaining staff are oblivious as to why they were lay'ed off
HL3 dev team fired.
maybe Gabe is just as frustrated that the project is taking so long and finally got fed up with the lead devs
Or maybe the people who were fired/resigned just didn't work well with the others and got too many problems stirred up. Or they couldn't handle working at Valve.
Nobody got fired its an ARG. Soon they will start posting cryptic messages on Twitter. HL3 released on 3-3-13!
Nobody got fired its an ARG. Soon they will start posting cryptic messages on Twitter. HL3 released on 3-3-13!
The time is 12 PDT. The date is 3-3-13. Steam update news: Half Life 3 released. Without warning.
It sounds like they only made cuts in their hardware department, like Android. Gabe is probably deciding that he can't compete in that market and is deciding not to fund it anymore. Hence the layoffs.
