Hopefully the new acquisition does a lot of good for the franchise. THQ was pulling them in the complete wrong direction.
Finally somebody made bolters sound like bolters
Hard to believe that this is actually created by Streum. Looks great.
I hope it makes me question the reality of both the game and my own life at every turn.

Relic's games are all good, what are you on about?
The emperor protects.

They were moving away from what made dawn of war great. I just really want a real successor to Dawn of War. Or hell, just a remake
Also never said they were bad, they're good, but could be a lot better.
I'm probably in the minority, but I'm glad they're moving from strategy games a bit. While they communicate the scale of the games well, less so in DoWII but still.. TPS and FPS 40k games have the potential to be amazing. Eternal Crusade and this seem great. Now we just to wait on a Space Marine sequel..... :^(

While I do still think that Dawn of War was a very good game series, and that DoW1 was much more like an RTS than DoW2 and I like it more for that reason, I went back and tried to play my favorite game in the series (Dark Crusade), and I realized didn't even really remember how to play. And once I re-figured it all out, I don't really know why I liked it so much in the first place (from a gameplay perspective) other than because it was 40k.

Also, Streum-On did a magnificent job with E.Y.E. Divine Cybermancy, and I'm hyped as hell for this game

Honestly all of the DoW games still stand up today, so there's no reason to get new RTS WH40k games in the near future. I'm really glad we're getting other kinds of, hopefully, good WH40k games other than DoW.
