I've been using Procaster for a couple of years, and the piece of shit is finally getting on my nerves, so what is the best streaming software I could get for free?
xsplit
xsplit
Ok nevermind, fuck that shit, I tried streaming and everything was distorted and really loud, I have a fucking headache now.

VHscreencap + FME is the best software you'll get for streaming in terms of performance.

I use XSplit. Only bad part about is it that on Windows 7 and Vista it forces you into the Basic theme while you use it. Though, when I enabled Skype interaction, it enabled the normal theme along with Aero for some reason.

I know for a fact it does that, day9 (http://www.justin.tv/day9tv) uses it for streaming and he likes to use the Notepad a lot and you can definitely see that it's using the Windows 7 Basic theme.
