Would you play (again, like Butterfield Hotel) on a retro Habbo server?

Hi,
As some of you might remember, 4 years ago i started a Habbo Hotel server called Butterfield Hotel. It was a great success with 30 to 50 people playing and it had tons of great moments and nights, the server ran its course for 4 months till it died down because the summer holiday ended and people kind of forgot about it. Part of the reason was because i had to shut down the server for a week in order to move to a new VPS which proofed to be cumbersome since it raised more issues.
Anyway, i remade the hotel with all its latest features such as mini games, trax, bots and superwire on a free server with a free domain (so that i don't have to ask for money) and all that it needs is players, with the poll i made i can check if its worth the effort.
Butterfield hotel in a nutshell is the latest Habbo version with all its furni available to you with a near-infinite amount of credits and VIP points so you can build just about anything you can think of with impressive results. Besides that you can actually curse without having Bobba replacing your "fucks" and "shits". All in all this kids game is pretty fun without its restrictions.

Is Habbo Hotel really that bad nowadays?
I remember butterfield! We had a radio, we had lots of rooms, and I owned two big clubs named Fahrenheit and Sub-Zero. Those were good times. I even made a terrible, low-quality video 4 years back when the original butterfield was shutting down. Maybe I could make one for this iteration of it and get it in better quality than potato this time.

Habbo got a bit bulged with useless additions that kept getting added and removed. I can't say how bad it is when it comes to people who are playing it but the software itself is pretty solid, mainly because it has years of continues development now
I'm up for some bobbaing Habbo Hotel.
These kinds of retro servers don't last really long. However, I would give it another shot, if it returns.

Thats usually with most servers on FP, eventually we all move on with something else unless i could find a way to keep attracting new players. tho the last time it lasted pretty long
Why isn't there a "No" option on the poll? All 3 options are "I guess I'll play", which isn't going to tell you much.

Why would i care if people don't want to play? The poll is more to see if people are returning players or new.
If you don't want to play just don't vote lol
Probably not. Last time I touched Habbo was when it was still funny to close the pool.
Had a lot of fun screwing around the last time, a shame I never took any screenshots.
I literally tried to log into butterfield 4 days ago. (didn't get far ofcourse lol)
I'd love to see it return. Had so much fun there
Yeah, I'd totally play again. I remember playing on this server and also running a hotel called "LB Hotel" with HybridTheory back in 08-09, maybe even earlier so I'm always down.
The site is done and so is most of the hotel, the only thing stopping me from opening is that the server refuses to connect with any external IP so once i fixed that i can open up.
I will PM everyone who has voted in the poll + replied with interest once i get the hotel open, most likely next or the week after that on a Friday.
someone post that one edited butterfield international hotel video.
Oh hell yeah, I loved butterfield.
Gonna have to do my old pub entirely from memory though :frown:

That's the actual one, not the edited one.
I remember a facepuncher made an edited version.
So what's the deal, when can we play again?
I had fun last time I played, but there was the problem of other rooms showing up on the room list when at least one person was in them. So when it was just me playing then it was fairly lonely.
