• R9 280X Graphical Artifacts

Back in Christmas, I bought myself a new PC and the graphics card I used was the R9 280X DirectCU II TOP. Although games run well without performance issues, I've noticed that the majority of my games have graphical artifacting at random points, usually becoming more intense depending on the game. I've tried everything you can think of - reinstalling drivers, updating vBIOS, everything. After looking online, I've found that many other people with the same card are experiencing the same problem, and it is likely due to faulty VRAM in the card. Since there is no guaranteed way to cause the artifacting - it happens seemingly at random - I don't think an RMA would fix the card as ASUS would likely not find a problem with it, as it doesnt show the artifacting during tests like Kombustor. Does anyone else have this problem as well? Here's a video of it happening in Titanfall a while back:
I had the same problem with my r9 280x, it was fixed when i installed the 14.4 drivers.
Pepper;45756739']I had the same problem with my r9 280x, it was fixed when i installed the 14.4 drivers.
I was running on those before - still no fix. Currently running on an ASUS version of the AMD drivers. If I can't find a fix, I'll probably just get an all new card, don't want to risk getting another card from ASUS since this problem's so common.
If this doesn't happen in other games i'd try reinstalling.
Looks like you should get a replacement under warranty. Normally you see artifacts when the cards cooked itself.
Have you tried AMD's 14.4 instead of ASUS's batch?
Yeah, those were the 14.4s I tried. If I can't get a replacement I'll just get a different card like a 770.
