For a while now I haven't been able to play any of my newer games, such as Chivalry and RO2. ARMA 3 also kicks me back to server browser without a message or anything after I manage to connect, not sure if that's a separate problem.
After starting chivalry or RO2, I just get a white window and it just stops responding and after a while crashes completely without any error message.
I managed to start RO2 once after I waited 15 minutes since pressing launch. Even then it just stopped responding after I joined a server.
My old games like all source-based ones work well, with the exception of bf2 which just freezes when it tries to connect to the account server after launching. Like always, I get no error messages.
One thing I've noticed also is that after these games stop responding, I can't kill the processes with task manager. They just won't die :suicide:
I did a complete scan with malwarebytes and I always keep avast running so there's definitely no viruses involved. What's up?
EDIT: seems to happen with source games too now... The hl2.exe starts running but nothing else happens. Same thing with everything else.
Try using reinstalling your graphics drivers (make sure you install the latest version). Also try opening command prompt and typing "sfc /scannow" without quotation marks
I had this problem with Arma 3. I verified the game, booted PC without ethernet and updated Battleye. You should check your firewall and try to restart your modem/ADL if you have, but do NOT reset if you don't know how to configure them, you'll brick it, and that tasks wont kill sounds like you don't have permissions or there is a virus. Try check programs you've installed lately and keep an eye on programs that uses alot of CPU. If you can't fix it, just reinstall OS it's the easiest solution and.

Tried sfc /scannow and it didn't find anything. All my drivers are up to date and I have reinstalled without success. Thanks anyway.
