I am thinking about getting some new speakers for my computer, to replace my old logitech x230 speakers

Thoughts?
M-Audio have some nice sound.
Have one set (or more) at my school in the studio but i don't know what model.
I think it would be a good buy.
Monitor speakers?
Unless you are doing sound engineering on your computer just get some good normal speakers.

These are "good normal speakers." They are by no means speakers for monitoring. The distinction between monitors and hifi is becoming increasingly grey.
I have a set of AV-30s, and they're pretty nice so I'd assume the AV-40s are good as well. They look a little pricey to me, but maybe I'm just cheap.
My friend recently bought some of these. They're great, but if you want wubwub bass you'll need a subwoofer to go with them.
