People still use xfire? Holy shit.
How sad, especially considering Riot's first year was their best as regards to respect for their customers. It's a steep hill slope from here-on.
I don't really understand the love for MOBA games. I've always found them boring and tedious.
How sad, especially considering Riot's first year was their best as regards to respect for their customers. It's a steep hill slope from here-on.
yea, rip
"and even World of Warcraft (if you exclude Asia)" I don't get how LoL is the most played PC game if this is a requirement
"and even World of Warcraft (if you exclude Asia)" I don't get how LoL is the most played PC game if this is a requirement
They need to cut Asia off from every game for this article to make sense.
So is the LoL stats counting Asia or no?
1.2 Billion players, half of that amount are trolls and 25% of them are full of rage-quitter's and leavers.
1.2 Billion players, half of that amount are trolls and 25% of them are full of rage-quitter's and leavers.
LoL have about 32 million players, not 1.2 billion, silly!
So much incorrection in these figures.
1.2 Billion players, half of that amount are trolls and 25% of them are full of rage-quitter's and leavers.
So about 1 in 6 people on earth play LoL? Seems legit.
the more popular the game gets the harder it is to satisfy the most you cant expect the 100+ champions lol has to be perfectly balanced, and riot is doing a great job at managing it fairly
I would definitely agree. When you have that many characters it's amazing that it's as balanced as it is. There's never really one champion that destroys all others, pretty much any of the champions can carry a team to victory.
1.2 Billion players, half of that amount are trolls and 25% of them are full of rage-quitter's and leavers.
That's 1.2billion hours played, not players. league of legends is great for funsies imo but you can't play it competitively because they have some key parts that are lacking.
LoL is fun as fuck, don't know what you people are talkin bout'. Smash scrubs all day erry day.
Played this game for a day.. could not understand it. Have not installed it since
1. Not everyone uses XFire. 2. Hours with the .exe open does not mean hours played. 3. July 1, 2011 to June 30, 2012 is too limited of a time period for exact results. 4. They excluded Asia.
the more popular the game gets the harder it is to satisfy the most you cant expect the 100+ champions lol has to be perfectly balanced, and riot is doing a great job at managing it fairly
Compared to some other rival ARTS they're doing a pretty piss poor job.
LoL is pretty big in Asia too, it's becoming one of the top e-sports in South Korea Looking at Xfire time is a very bad way to measure time played but I think the notion of "LoL is becoming a really popular game" is true at least. and please don't start yet another dota2/LoL argument, keep that shit in their own respective threads, not to mention LoL is turning away from the DotA formula as the game gets updated.
Played this game for a day.. could not understand it. Have not installed it since
I understood it but it was boring as fuck You pretty much just do the same exact thing for like half an hour until it finally swings one way or the other
I haven't played LoL in forever, how many champions do they have now exactly? And why do they release champs so frequently? Just to please their playerbase or something?
I made an account once, I played like 1 game and I decided I didn't even like it. It makes me angry that my account is being most likely being counted in these statistics.
I haven't played LoL in forever, how many champions do they have now exactly? And why do they release champs so frequently? Those stats prove one thing Since only ignorant people use xfire now and Lol has the biggest amount of players on xfire, LoL is filled with ignorant people
league of legends is the most played game in [sp]two thirds of[/sp] the world
I made an account once, I played like 1 game and I decided I didn't even like it.
I haven't played LoL in forever, how many champions do they have now exactly? And why do they release champs so frequently? Just to please their playerbase or something?
They're f2p and make most of their money from skins. More new champions = more skin bundles = more money. It expands the game while making them money.
If this doesn't have counter strike 1.6 it's not a real list
It's not fair if they used Xfire, so little people use it.
