Okay, here's the deal. I'm thinking about ditching my old graphics card. However,I can only use AGP cards. I've been thinking about buying this 3850 GDDR3 512mb card. In your opinion, would that be a good choice? Thanks for your attention. - Irving
I say yes, but what are the rest of your specs?
Post Specs.
upgrade nothing on agp is worth the money
It's really more worth it to upgrade to PCIe
you see,I ain't got loads of money to fully upgrade to PCIe. Here in Brazil,a full upgrade would kill me bag of money. posting specs soon. [editline]05:38PM[/editline] :siren:SPECS:siren: Processor Intel Pentium 4 CPU 3.20GHz Motherboard Intel D865PERL Memory DDR 896 Mbytes RADEON 7500 Series 64Mb
You should be posting specs right now. And it CAN be worth it to upgrade to a AGP, if you don't got loads of money, doesn't play other things than source, if your current AGP card is like, one of the earliest AGP cards. I actually got a AGP video card lying around.. You can get it for free if you live in Denmark.. Just gonna test if it works.. It's a V9999GT, somewhat similiar to the 6800GT.

AGP Gaming Pick one.
You should consider the HD 2600 Pro - it's a pretty decent card for AGP.

My old machine had a 3.4 GHz P4, 1.5 GB of DDR400 RAM and an AGP Radeon X1950 Pro and it played L4D with no problems and TF2 was fine. The X1950 Pro is pretty much the best you're going to get without blowing your hard earned money on an outdated machine.
what, no love for the 4670 AGP?

Well still just convert it over to Brazil-ian.
I want it!
Do you need one? I'm gonna test it if you want it...
Lucky bastards living in awesome countries while we are stuck here in fucking England
Lucky bastards living in awesome countries while we are stuck here in fucking England
rather england than brazil
Agree with above post.
rather england than brazil
Well if you are well off brazil is better but if you are lower class it's hard shit for brazilians with favelas and stuff :saddowns: Beaches and lovely sun and Robinho and Kaka and Pele

(*all prices are USD, I have no idea what it translates to in your currency or if you have any taxes on computer parts or anything like that)
I've been thinking, would an Ati Radeon Sapphire Hd 2400 Pro 512mb Ddr2 Agp 4x/8x do the job for l4d2? - Irving [editline]12:02PM[/editline] Also is this Motherboard Intel D865PERL a good motherboard?
Depending on the rest of your hardware I think you will be able to play it, but I would recommend atleast a 36** series card. The best would be if you bought a new computer.

Check my specs up there, add the Ati Radeon Sapphire Hd 2400 Pro 512mb Ddr2 Agp 4x/8x and tell me: Will my pc run l4d2? Even if I end up having to bump it down to low,but will I have no lag on low?

Nobody seems to answer the question. WILL that graphics card run l4d2? I've run l4d2 demo b4 with a 6800xt with the same pc. Is the hd 2400 better than the 6800xt?
