This is worse than the time my little sister ran over the original Rollercoaster Tycoon with an office chair.
Atari confirmed that in-game currency can be used to hurry along construction of rides and other work.
So it won't be like the other RCT's where it's just an instant plop-down of rides? What the hell? What's the fun of having to wait for your shit to be built? This had better just be for the mobile version.
Themepark Studio is looking like the true successor to the Rollercoaster Tycoon series now.
The PC version will be an “online multiplayer experience”.
Fuck off. Remember SimCity V. Nobody wants multiplayer in fucking tycoon games.

Not everything needs goddamn multiplayer. Fuck my automerge.
Fuck off. Remember SimCity V. Nobody wants multiplayer in fucking tycoon games.
I didn't know that they are working on a pc version too not that it makes things better; it just worsens this all.
I'm starting to believe that Atari just doesn't like customers. Even so, people will eat this up because they won't know any better. Ho-hum.
I sure miss those times when mobile gaming was a rather unpopular topic and not really a part of the gaming industry, and also when we'd get actual videogames with none of this micro-transaction bullcrap.

Ho-hum.
Well considering that Atari went out of business is it any wonder what formed out of that would want to hit the mobile market when you see news about King raking in $1.9bn revenue and of that $568m in profits for a bejewelled clone.
