Hello, I am trying to connect my laptop to my new 32" LCD tv.
I have gotten everything working alright, but I dont like multimonitor. Cant I choose so both the computer screen and my tv shows the same? Multi monitor isnt my thing and I find it real annoying.
Yes you can. However, there are multiple differences on how to do this between laptops. Refer to the documentation that came with your laptop to see how to do this.
Dont have them left. Its about a 4 or 5 year old PC
Look on your keyboard for a key that says something like "LCD" or "CRT" or a symbol of a box with lines on each side. Then find a key that says "FN" on it. Press FN+whatever-key-it-is to hopefully cycle between Only PC, Only Projector (other monitor), Extend (multi-monitor), or Duplicate (what you want).
