1. I plug in my iPhone. 2. ???? 3. NO PROFIT!!! I can't even check my pictures or ANYTHING! I'm getting really frustrated :<
Install something like winamp to browse your iphone.

Well, I have Ubuntu and i can't be arsed to change my edition again. But if Xubuntu implements it I'll update.
Just install iFuse, it adds iphone support to linux.
The built-in music player for ubuntu worked for me. I forgot what it was called again...
Rhythmbox?
