I am an advocate on these things, and am not going to buy one of these until i am sure FP approves, so which is the best for the money? My goal is Crysis on high and TF2 on godlike http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103694 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115036 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103674
It depends on how much you want to spend. The 955 is definitely the best value, and better than the E8500, but if you're just gaming the 545 might be enough.
would it be more benefical to buy a cpu or a graphics chip? Also would the AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black fit in the same slot i currently have my E2200?

If your current CPU is Intel and you want to go AMD you have to buy another mobo that is compatible with your selected AMD chip.

The bargain on Newegg right now is a 4850 for 95$. Though a 4870 for 145$ is much better. Gaming; get a PhenomII 550 or a PhenomII 720.
umm 4850 and 8400 if you want to shell money out to buy a AMD mobo then get the 550.
