I dunno about you guys, but I was pretty pissed off when I heard that you have to pay for mods now Well luckily me and nearly 7,000 others did too, and someone decided to make a petition I said nearly 7,000. We need 600 more signatures to reach the goal of 7,500 So please help to free the workshop Or don't if you like paying for mods https://www.change.org/p/valve-remove-the-paid-content-of-the-steam-workshop (User was banned for this post ("not a fast thread" - Orkel))
Basicly paying for mods is paying for unlicensed DLC. And paying for unlicensed DLC is worse than paying for Disc Locked Content
Signed. This is total bullshit, how am I just hearing of this now?
It's a choice; you don't have to buy it. It's just a capitalistic directive
It's a choice; you don't have to buy it. It's just a capitalistic directive
Thats incorrect. Now modders can make mods require full purchase. No donating anymore
And? Vote with your wallet; don't buy it if you don't want to support the system.
It's not about "voting with your wallet". It's that people are taking advantage of the system. They're selling unfinished mods, titled "EARLY ACCESS". Look at this, Tell me how in the world this makes sense, and is totally fine? Plus the fact Valve did this with no pretext, no talking to the mod community, nothing. It's a moneygrab.
