My headphones broke the other day, so I need to get a new pair. I have a budget of around £20 - I've looked around a bit on Facepunch but most threads are above my budget. I'm don't care too much about the sound quality, as long as it's better than the apple earphones which I'm having to use at the moment. I also don't care too much if it's a headset or just a plain pair of headphones as long as they're (reasonably) comfy. I'm also in the UK. Thanks.
I could probably stretch to £30 if it'd be a vast improvement over a £20 set, but I'd rather stay around £20.
not exactly an expert on headsets but I've heard many good things about http://www.amazon.co.uk/Creative-HS-Fatal1ty-Gaming-Headset/dp/B000P5VR16/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1255193445&sr=8-1 if you were to stretch to £30
^^^ I just found that one. I have one myself and it's a good quality headset.

Does it hurt your ears after a while?

No.

Great sound for cheap headphones, better than Apple buds that's for sure. Not a headset though. They hook over your ears, sounds weird but it works pretty good. I've been using them for a couple of years now, good bass and clear treble.
^^^ I use the Koss KSC75 with my phone when running. Good quality sound

Those two items both look good, so I'll probably buy one of them tomorrow, unless anyone else has any better suggestions. Thanks!

I had one of those. I really didn't like it.
I'd go with the ones Cryticfarm recommended as they look pretty good. Plus it looks awesome
My friends and me think that this headphones are excellent for the money: http://www.ebuyer.com/product/111651
Was used in my last two builds I did for friends and they both LOVED them
If you want straight up headphones, go for Koss Portapro's. They're similar to the Koss KSC75, but they're better due to the housing of the drivers.
Yeah, definitely a PortaPro if you want light, open headphones. They might not look very good, but the sound quality is quite excellent.

Oh really? Cause they are really comfortable for me no matter what.
I guess it just has to do with ear shape.

Best headset ever made.
Thanks, guys. I'm leaning towards the £6.99 (Cosonic) pair because even if they are bad they're pretty cheap so I can always buy the GameCom as they also look good.
