One of you lot might be able to help me, and I think this is the right area for it.
Moved into a new place and being gone for long periods at a time makes it semi-necessary for me to get a surveillance system for the house.
I am trying to find one that I can connect to my network via wireless and manage it from there. Problem is that its a pain in the ass for me to find anything based on these requirements.
So, if any of you know of something sort of like this, that would be awesome.
Needs at least six channels, and to be managed over network.
The other option would for me to install a couple of lan drops in the house.Trying to avoid this though because the attic is dusty as fuck and I don't like working in it.
Budget for this is around $6-700.
Wireless means you will need to change batteries, Id personally just install some CAT6 outlets where you want your cameras and fine a cheaper POE option.

I only need wireless video transmission so as to maintain safety of the DVR and ease up installation. I've no problem with running small cables for powering cameras around.
Take a look at Lorex, they have quite a few systems to choose from: https://www.lorextechnology.com/wireless-security-systems/N-4vg0buZ5cbki8Z1f4irtu
Their variants are in 4, 8, and 16 channels. There's also one system they have with 8 channels/6 cameras and is $100 above your budget: https://www.lorextechnology.com/wireless-security-systems/8-channel-6-camera-wireless-security-system/LW86W-1-p
Just know that a lot of wireless cameras have horrible penetration, so if there isn't direct line of sight with the DVR or wherever your signal receivers are you'll probably need these (more cost): https://www.lorextechnology.com/search/?Dy=1&Nty=1&Ntt=range+extender*
