So, I'm trying to install Ubuntu on my chromebook pixel. I found a turtorial and everything but I can't complete even the first step because my chromebook refuses to go into developer mode for some reason holding esc and refresh and hitting the power button isn't enough. Is there a reason for this or am I being a retard and doing something completely wrong?
On Google's website it says:
"To invoke Recovery mode, you hold down the ESC and RefreshPower button for at least 200ms (until the keyboard backlight comes on). If you don't hold it for long enough, then it won't work."
