• DVD Backup?

My dvds are slowly becoming unusable. They are getting scratched from misuse (of others in my family) and I would like to preserve them. Is there any software free or otherwise (its worth it for me) that I can use to rip these DVDs to my computer as AVI files or something? Even if the software is like $50, thats 5 DVDs I wont have to replace. I dont want to have a copied library (burn to writable disc). Thanks!

Thank you :D [editline]05:10PM[/editline] Note: I found that DVD34 does not work on 64bit, but you can still use VLC: http://www.methodshop.com/gadgets/tutorials/handbrake/ Thanks again!
