It's a good game in my opinion, hard as balls though later on.

Yeah, especially in the sewers. I hated that part of the game, but it was the only part I didn't like.

I highly recommend this to anyone Wesp's series of unofficial patches have not only made the game playable in it's entirety, but added and restored content.
and it's a very good game. Easily one of the best RPGs I've ever played, and that's no amount of hyperbole.
I might get it by other means but I certainly won't pay...unless its freeware now.

Wesp is German. He lives in Germany. And if we have learned anything from German history, it is that they seem to believe that if you keep repeating a lie over and over again, then eventually that lie will become magically transformed into the truth.
Wasn't it Adolph Hitler... another German... who famously said "The great masses of the people will more readily believe in a big lie, than in a small one." Or some words to that effect. That vile attitude seems to have persisted within their culture, at least amongst some Germans. Just look at how many Germans continue to lie about the Holocaust, for example... which they themselves committed upon millions and millions of innocent victims. To this day, many of them still try to pretend that the Holocaust never existed, or at least they pretend that the stories about it are largely exaggerated.
That's the world that Wesp grew up in... so it should come as no surprise that repeatedly lying is almost second nature to him. He'd make his Nazi grandpa real proud.

it's not. the combat is abysmal and the atmosphere and plot has no where near the draw that deus ex does. this could have been a wonderful game had the devs had more time, but it feels so unpolished. especially the joke of the ui that it has.
