Alright I got all the hardware in place and all the front panel wiring done etc, now how do I wire the PSU?
(Here is a picture of the mobo)

I've tried putting the main PSU into the mobo on the 24 slot plug, but there's another 8 slot plug that I need to plug the PSU into to get it to work but I have no plugs that will fit it. The PSU is a Corsair CMPSU-650TX.
Here is some pics of what I have done; What is my fatal flaw here

Note: When I try to turn it on I plug it on, flick the switch, and literally nothing happens. No sounds no movement NUFIN

Here's the PSU cords

Oh wait it's not modular, I was being dumb. It's there. It might take the form of 2 plug that will fit into the board.
I believe you can connect a 4pin to an 8pin and it'll work, but I can't remember what the requirements of doing so is.
I connected a 4pin earlier to half of it and it wouldn't start either
I have the same PSU, doesn't one connect to the socket in the top left (of the bottom picture)
I'll take a look in an hour when I get home but I'm fairly sure there's 2 4pins you need to plug in beside each other.

there should be the 2nd one down somewhere
I have two 4pin connectors beside eachother but they don't fit in the 8 pin beside eachother. Only one of the 4pins fits

I don't have the second one which is pictured though
it should fit >_>
It doesn't >_>

When I get home ill take a pic of the two 4 pin connectors
You havent plugged in a CPU power source

Durp de durp that's what he's been trying to do, but his power supply doesn't have the cable, durp.
Oh okay, bad reading then
Ok so the two 4 pin plugs do fit i just had to work a little harder at it.
PC still wont turn on
did you do the front panel stuff?
Yes
Maybe a dumb question, but is the PSU's power button on?
U mean the switch yes?
Yeah, the power switch on the PSU.
What I find odd is that your PSU doesn't have the 8pin EPS/ATX connector.
Yes I switched the PSU on.
Are you absolutely certain that the Power SW wire leading to the power button on the case is connected properly?
If you are sure you have everything connected up correctly, the next step would be to assume that one or more of the components are faulty and begin testing. I would start with the RAM, by trying one module at a time (this assumes they aren't both dead, which is unlikely, but of course possible).
When you press the power button, exactly what happens? Any clicking? Anything booting, loading or doing anything?
Absolutely nothing
Check the power cable, is it properly connected.
Check the 24pin cable if it's properly connected (including the 4pin that hangs next to the 20 other pins)
Check if the case's power connector is connected to the right pins

Your power supply has that cable, is it properly connected? (Top left corner of motherboard)
Is the CPU installed?
Yes
It came with a 24 pin, not a 20 and a 4
Power connector?
Yes it is

There's a ton of wires connected to the buttons and different parts of your case.
One of those is for the buttons and LED's at the front.
I saw in one of your pictures that you had them connected, but do you have them connected properly?
They aren't connected after wirecolor to pincolor, you have to read on the connector what it's for, and then on the motherboard where to place it.
Yeah those are placed correctly, I can doublecheck when I get home though
How exactly do you know it won't boot, if you aren't home with it?
I went home plugged the 2 4pin connectors in tried to turn it on unsuccessfully and now I'm back out with friends
I forgot to plug the 8Pin cable on my computer once too, it would still turn on, it just wouldn't post, the case fans would work though. I think you really should check to make sure the power cable from the case is connected right.
The end with the colored wire is the positive cable ya? It doesn't say on the part itself or the case manual. Case is a cm690 ii
What what?

Polarity doesn't matter for the power button if that's what you're saying.
