I currently have an Asus M4A89 GTD PRO/USB3 motherboard and a Phenom II x4 955 processor. I've had it for 5 years now and I figure it's time to upgrade, so I'd like to replace it with something newer and Intel. Budget is somewhere between $250 to $350. Thoughts?

It'll put the cost at $335 though. If you don't, just use the stock cooler. Well I already have my 955 OC'd to around 3.9 GHz. Would I still be able to get the i3 to outperform it?
While the i3's better, I don't think that it's worth the upgrade. Save a little more for a 3570.
He's already able to fit a 3570K in the upgrade for just over $300 ($335 if he wants to OC).
I think I still have the Intel mounts for my CM V8 heatsink.
