• VGA to S video adapter

Well, I'm planning on hooking my eMachine ET1331G-03W Desktop up to my T.V. The only problem is that my Desktop has a VGA port and my TV has a S video port. I know there has to be an adapter but I can't find one. So basically I'm looking for an VGA to S video adapter/cord. Thanks in advance
Problem is that VGA sends a progressive signal. S-Video is interlaced (480i). Your best bet (with the least headaches) would be picking up a cheap video card from somewhere that has dedicated S-Video out. Almost all video cards have them now, even low end cheap ones.
You can get an older card that supports S-Video natively, it should be pretty cheap. And if you are worrying about getting worse FPS in games, don't because S-Video is probably going to only output to 640i (640x480) interlaced as well.
