I keep getting 45 FPS on LOW in Black Ops on Singleplayer. I mean, seriously, I have a Fermi.
PC Specs
OS - Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
CPU – AMD Athlon II X4 635
RAM – 2.0GB Single-Channel DDR2 @ 400MHz
Motherboard – BIOSTAR Group TA785GE
GPU -NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450
Hard Drives – 1.5 TB Seagate HDD
DVD/CD Drives – None :C
Audio – Integrated motherboard card
Case -Antec 300
It's not a very high-end build to be honest, but it looks pretty low for that setting. What resolution are you playing on? And maybe Black Ops require more RAM. I wouldn't know, haven't played the game yet.

there's your problem
I'm not even trying to troll, Black Ops is terribly unoptimized, I get like 30FPS in Multiplayer with a similar rig
That's a fairly low-end build, actually.

yeah and that
the only good thing is your Fermi which is getting bottlenecked to shit
What should I add then?

I meant singleplayer. This also applies to MW2.

well your RAM is terrible, the GTS series of cards is generally worse than GTX, sound card has a lot to do with it as well actually because onboard means more work for CPU...

Sorry, I can't get a sound card. I only have one PCI slot, the other 2 are being blocked by the huge GPU.
I THINK I can upgrade the GPU, I have a receipt for it in my dad's car.
What RAM do you recommend from Fry's? (Don't tell me to get it from newegg)

Needs to be under 105 dollars. (Reserving 20 for a new pair of headphones)

It is? I thought Athlon X4's were pretty decent.
Not by today's standards. ^^
It might also be because you have limited framerate on. It's capped by default.

How do I fix that then.
