Mayhaps, Blizzard, you should rethink the game? There's a damn good reason botting in WoW is such a popular activity, and it's 100% down to how grindtastic and how boring your game is. I played enough to max out in the late Cata era on one character, nearly got another in, and I never want to touch it again because it's 95% drudgery, 4% work and 1% flying around Stormwind on my gyrocopter while blaring Danger Zone and wishing I was in an F-14 instead.
found the botter

Botter? Nah. I just stopped playing. I ain't gonna pay $15 a month to watch my computer click things for me.

Doesn't matter how much they improve the game. They could make it the most exciting MMO in existence and there would still be botters.

Fucking lmao, if you thing WoW is grindy, you should probably stay away from MMOs altogether.

There'd be less botters if it wasn't so grindey, though. The game's very design encourages botting.
Fucking lmao, if you thing WoW is grindy, you should probably stay away from MMOs altogether.
And I do. The only reason I even played WoW was because someone else A: picked up my sub B: wanted me to play with them. I never have and likely never will have much interest in the genre as a whole because it's defined by endless drudgery.
What makes you think I play them? The fact that I played one, found it to be a grindtastic piece of shit, and stopped playing it somehow tells you I play loads of MMOs?

But everyone should like every game that I like.
Are you sure these bots don't operate on commands like *WhosYourDaddy*

Or, uh maybe, and slow me down if I'm going too fast, the problem with isn't with Blizzard for not doing away with the rather important MMO element of not giving you everything at once that the vast majority of the player base are perfectly fine with, but rather the handful of cheaters who clearly aren't playing the right game for them? But clearly someone who doesn't like MMOs knows what's best for MMOs.
Ok this may be a derail, but I have an idea for a game. What if I could create a games of thrones type deal? I'm talking basically all the back stabbing and skullduggery, politics and manipulation? Make that the core mechanic and do away with leveling and what not?

Doesn't that already exist and is called EvE Online?

Having played EVE for 7 years, I can confirm EVE Online is basically Game of Thrones in space.

I thought of that, but said core mechanic.
Eve online still has me leveling up and stuff.
I tend to think outside the box sometimes in concepts or u precedented ways I have difficulty describing, but the social interaction would shape the world, not the actions like in wow or eve.
I know people rated my post dumb but the intent is to get people more aware of how such stuff works if that makes any sense. Its to give people a world that simulates human nature and social interaction in all its horror and glory so they can learn such stuff in an eviroment that carries little risk.
Maybe for little children who getting bullied and become more socially sophisticated?
I'll figure it out.
