Could someone help me make an international purchase?

So there's an american company I've gotten in touch with lately (Distortions Unlimited), but after our email conversation arrived at the topic of shipping quotes, they stopped responding after I sent my address to them to get the quote. The same thing happened with another company (Gerard Enterprises) so I've been lead to believe it's an issue with international shipping, since I know these people in the states who've purchased from these companies before. Given this issue, I'm curious if anyone in the states would be willing to lend a hand in making a purchase from the company, most likely buying something from the company themselves then shipping it to Australia. I'll cover the mask expense + shipping. If you're willing to lend me a hand, just post and I'll cover the rest of the details.
Thanks!
You sure you want to be so open about this?
Chop out that information and just say "I'll PM contact details to anyone interested".
I've cut it out but for the record it's just the companies details. Regardless, if you can lend a hand just PM me then.
with the price points i'm guessing you're looking at
i doubt there's very many users here who would be willing to put that much money down on a "i'll pay u back i promise" from a random person on the internet

Would it work if I covered cost first? It's 28.60 plus whatever shipping would be between states, can't check for sure though. I know this sounds scummy as I'm just kind of desperate.
Why not use a forwarding company if you fail here? Worked fine for me except it was a bit pricey.

What was so bad about contact details of the companies anyway?

Not sure about the contact details but better to be safe then sorry. As for the forwarding company, I'm not sure really. I was kind of hoping I could get someone in the states to phone them since it'd be more straight forward than a phonecall.
How much would a call to the company cost?
These companies could at least have the courtesy to tell you they don't ship outside the states/are ceasing contact rather than leaving me hanging like this. Legitimately fucking fuming.
