I've recently been hankering to play some RPGs after not playing one for so long, I've thought of replaying Dragon Age: Origins and I hear that Fire Emblem: Awakening is pretty good, I might play some Baldur's Gate for good measure. Do any of you have suggestions?
Devil Survivor Overclocked
RPG-7's are the cheapest and most easy to obtain, assuming you have contacts in the black market.
Witcher series on the PC. Though I think you can skip the first one and just play the second one.

Why would he skip the first? It's incredible!
Mario & Luigi series
Pokemon
You might try the Ys games on Steam. They're somewhat different than what you gave as examples but still reasonably similar.
Dark Souls.

I've bean fire emblem on 3ds, it's not really an RPG. It's good but definitely not an RPG. Monster hunter on 3ds?
Fallout 1,2 and New Vegas. Don't bother with any other fallouts.

Go for Arcanum on the PC.

bother with all other fallouts because they're all really good except brotherhood of steel
Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate and Planescape Torment
Can't go wrong with any of the Elder Scrolls games, although Oblivion and Skyrim get kinda dull unless you mod the shit out of it which is difficult but very rewarding
If you like combat akin to baldur's gate and DA:O, you should check out Biowares older games like the Neverwinter Nights series.
Theres also Risen, which is essentially a more clunky fable with pirates.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R Series.[sp]It's survival horror with elements of RPG[/sp]
Pokemon X and Y
Mario and Luigi Dream Team
Fire Emblem Awakening
well to be honest, most of the games from those series are amazing.
Divine Divinity :)
Star Control 2. Great aliens, good story...

...And it's free!
Fate, kind of old and easy but fun.

To me, a game following an RPG roots either has to have RPG elements like the FF series or the DQ series. Since they both partially Began the RPG genre.
Monster Hunter doesn't really count, since it's more like an action/adventure game.
Fire Emblem is more like an RPG. It has the level system, HP and all things like FF and/or FF tactics.
They're both great, don't get me wrong.
But If I were to misjudge the term "RPG", then I'd say play Ocarina of Time 3D.
Daggerfall

yes it is, it's an SRPG.
Etrian Odyssey 4 on 3DS?
With PC, you can use emulators to get access to all sorts of games from older consoles. Your choices are basically limitless. I recommend Pokemon and the early Final Fantasy games.

This right here. Requires a bit of modding to get widescreen working, and fix other stuff, but well worth it.
mass effect. all three games.

These two games are easily my most favourite RPG games of all time. I really want to see a third one.
