As the title suggests, I have a mobile phone which is no longer in use and I want to get the microphone out. This is because I bought a mic today and it's absolutely terrible quality so I'm hoping to use the housing of it and install a mobile phone microphone I have reached the circuit board but I cannot find the microphone, even if it was there I am not sure how to get it out without damaging it Any help would be great! Where is it... [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/QHiKn0u.jpg[/img_thumb] [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/N3NOYym.jpg[/img_thumb] [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/T7eWyAp.jpg[/img_thumb]
I can tell you one thing that microphone is no better than the one you purchased
Your phone mic would definitely not be better than your current mic, for sure. Plus, if you were to harvest it from your old phone, I don't think it's be an easy process to get it to work with your computer.
Alright, ha. I see the error of my ways I'll just get a refund!
Depending what you want it for. I got the [URL="http://www.zoom.co.jp/products/h1"]Zoom H1[/URL] not too long ago, it's a portable handheld recorder, but you can just plug it into your pc too. I use it to record samples out in the field, so i'd say the quality is quite on par. Went for about €80,- (though it has gone up in price since o.O)
