Hello guys I will buy new system but I dont know how much watt I will need can you help me ?
Motherboard : Asus m5a97 R2.0 or Gigabyte 990XA-UD3
CPU : Amd Fx 8350 4 GHz
Graphic Card : HD 7870 2 GB 256 bit
RAM : 2x4GB DDR3
HDD : 3.5" 1 TB Cavier Green Sata 3.0 7200rpm
+ other stuffs
I thought 600w would be enough but some of my friends warned me it wouldnt be enough. And I used some psu calculators results are 382-500 interval. Thanks in advance
Edit: And which motherboard should I choose ?
Dont waste your money with amd. The 8350 is just an overclocked 8320 which is barely better than a. 6300. That gpu is shit too. What is your budget?
1000 usd maybe 1200
Edit: But Im living in Turkey so prices of components will be different but if you have suggestion Im glad to hear.
This is a pretty high end build. You can edit it to your preference to save some money since im sure its more expensive in turkey. Maybe cheaper z97 board (i recommend asrock for overclocking) and cpu cooler and 280x instead if its all over budget there, idk.

The best things to drop down if it's over budget would be the cooler to a Coolermaster Hyper 212 EVO, motherboard to a cheaper z97 from asus, msi, asrock, or gigabyte, and the GPU to a 280x or 770
@lilyo
Your suggestion cost me more than 1500 usd in Turkey :D I didnt even added ssd and cooler lol
Edit:
Prices
1usd=2 tl
Amd Fx 8350 498 TL - i5 619 TL
HD 7870 461 TL - r9 290 1111 TL
m5a97 R2.0 246 TL - 990 XA UD3 292 TL - Z97 397 TL
You could also drop the ssd if it's still over. All of those together should bring it in budget and still be far superior
Well I cant afford r9 290 but r9 270 costs 250 usd and hd7870 costs 230 usd in here. So which one should I choose since they dont have big difference in cost ?
CPU: i5 4670k Soket 1150 3.4GHz 6MB Cache 22nm 310 usd

downgrade the motherboard to a cheaper z97 or 87 and get a cheaper case and get an r9 280
So will 600 W be enough for these systems ?

Got you a cheaper CPU cooler, motherboard, memory, and case. Switched to an R9 280. PCPartPicker reports the total power draw is approximately 393W, so I chose a 500W PSU just to be on the safe side.
CPU : Intel Core i5 4670k soket 1150 3.4 GHz
Motherboard:
1- MSI Z87-G43 Intel Z87 Soket 1150 DDR3 3000MHz(O.C.) SATA 3.0 USB 3.0 HDMI 154 usd
2- MSI Z87M-G43 Intel Z87 Soket 1150 DDR3 3000MHz(O.C.) SATA 3.0 USB 3.0 HDMI 161 usd
3- Gigabyte Z87-HD3 Intel Z87 Soket 1150 DDR3 1600MHz SATA 3.0 USB 3.0 HDMI&DVI 180 usd
4- MSI Z97 GUARD-PRO Intel Z97 Soket 1150 DDR3 3300MHz(O.C.) 172 usd
Memory: Kingston Hyperx genesis 2x4GB 1600 MHz DDR3 Cl9
Storage:

2- WD 3.5" Cavier Blue 1TB 7200RPM 74 usd
Video Card :

2- Sapphire R9 270X DUAL-X OC GDDR5 2GB 256Bit AMD Radeon DX11.2 260 usd
3- Sapphire HD7870 O.C. GDDR5 2GB 256Bit AMD Radeon DX11 246 usd
For motherboards I dont know which one is better.
For storage since they are at same value and you are both suggesting Seagate then probably I will choose it.
For video card I searched their benchmarks and Im not sure if r9 270x worth giving extra 19 usd but I wanted to know your opinions. (Also I cant buy r9 280 )
For case it will be better if I buy a case has its own psu but Im looking for it now.
Dude just link the site you buy from. It might even be cheaper buying from outside turkey.
If I buy it from outside I have to pay taxes. So it will be same or more cost to me. Im looking everywhere in turkey for your suggestions. But our country sucks about it.
It would still help us greatly if you could link us to a few websites that you know can purchase these parts from. Then we can find something more accurately within your price range.
Well Im searching for how can I buy parts from abroad without extra cost expect shipping cost.
If I can't I can only use Turkey. So Im asking your build. Then looking their price. And then if its necessary downgrading parts. Looking for alternative then asking you again to decide best.
I can give Turkish sites but that wont help cause you dont know Turkish. So Im trying to be bridge between that sites and you. If you want I can give links that I will buy parts from.
Give us the links, I'm curious what sites there are in Turkey. Usually the best place to buy is Germany, but idk how shipping works in europe.

For some help
Computer = Bilgisayar
Motherboard = Anakart
Video Card = Ekran kartı
Memory = Bellek
CPU = İşlemci
PSU = Güç kaynağı
Case = Kasa (Its written as bilgisayar kasası)
Looks to me like gold.com has the best prices?
This is the best I can do. Comes to about $1200?

The case has its own psu 550W should I buy that psu you linked ?
And thanks for your help
Oh I didn't even realize that. Well the VS550 is an ok psu, you'll be fine. You have 200tl to spare then, you could get the 4670k + cooler + z87.

http://www.gold.com.tr/msi-z87-g43-4xddr3-3000mhz-vga-dvi-hdmi-lga1150-anakart_u
idk what cooler you could get though idk any of the ones they offer.
This was the only (presumably) cheap, yet still reliable heatsink I could find on the site that was compatible with socket LGA 1150 (probably the only one on this site in general that is compatible with 1150). And it appears to be out of stock/unavailable right now. If you don't mind waiting around for what I'm assuming is a week or two for them to restock, you can get this one if it indeed turns out to be within your price range.

I probably wont do overclock. So still do I need to change stock cpu fan ?
Then don't buy the 4670k and z87 board.
I probably wont do overclock. So still do I need to change stock cpu fan ?
Get an i5 4690 and a motherboard with an H87 or H97 chipset instead. And no, that means you can use the stock heatsink instead of buying a separate one.

This is the cheapest H87 board I could find on the site that wasn't a micro ATX. Hope it's not too overpriced for you.
Haswell Refresh needs a bios update on the 8 series motherboards to work btw.

Doesn't look like there are any 9 series chipsets on this site, unfortunately. But I did find the regular i5 4670, so I guess that'll have to do.

Why are we changing motherboard if I don't do overclock? They are almost at same price. And later if I decided to do oc can I do it with 4690? I think Im going to buy 4670k but I need to rethink about it tomorrow cause Im done today :D
Btw thanks for helping

Btw thanks for helping
because without a K version processor you're wasting the mobo's ability.
and, you can't overclock the 4690, it's a locked processor.
so you'd need the K, and a z87 board.
otherwise get a h87, a standard non-k 4690

You can only overclock an Intel processor if there is a K after the numerical designation. Currently, there is no 4690K (and we probably won't see one for a little while longer, depending on how long it takes Intel to release them after they're presumably revealed at upcoming conventions). If you really plan to overclock, you need a motherboard with a Z87 or Z97 chipset, as those are the only Intel motherboards that support it on Haswell (the 4000 series) chips, and you'll also need to buy a separate heatsink because the stock one doesn't perform well with overclocked processors. If you decide not to overclock, then you should instead buy an H87 or H97 board, depending on whether you choose the 4670 or the 4690. I'll try and simplify this as much as possible with a little list:
i5 4670 = H87 motherboard chipset + stock heatsink
i5 4670K = Z87 motherboard chipset + separate heatsink
i5 4690 = H97 motherboard chipset + stock heatsink
i5 4690K (is not currently available for consumers, will require wait before availability) = Z97 motherboard chipset + separate heatsink
