Fine by me. Trophies didn't matter much to me anyways, so I guess I'm happy for the trophy hoarders.
Wait, what? Different stages too? Are you kidding me?

I don't really see the problem?

Honestly the only problem I'd see is platform-specific characters, which isn't happening
I just want it to be out so I can tear shit up anew.

3DS version will have 3DS game stages, like an animal crossing stage or a fire emblem awakening stage(?), while the wii u will have console game stages like that sanic stage and i think a skyward sword stage.
I think one of my best times on Smash Bros was looking through an endless list of highly detailed thophies, it inspired me a lot to become a 3D artist when I was a child
They influenced me aswell.
Peeking under Peach's dress made me a really creepy person who shouldn't own a smartphone with a camera.
A kind of wish they put all their efforts into just a WiiU version, SSB doesn't seem like a good game to play on a handheld screen.

As selfish as it may seem, I just want them to prioritize the Wii U version because I never cared for the concept of Smash Bros on a handheld.
Where's my Wario Nintendo?
I kind of wish the trophy models had more usage outside of collecting. They invest all that time on them to be barely seen; they should make more of them have cameo appearances during gameplay. (i.e. in the crowd for the boxing arena, walking through a non-series specific city level, floating by in the background)
For example, the Mach Rider could have made a cameo as one of the vehicles on Mute City or Onett, or Kirby's animal buddies could have been props on Green Greens.
Not dissing trophies, I just felt they could be something more, rather than a static element who's model is never used again (i.e. Ayumi's). Even the Saria trophy shown today on the main site looks like it could be easily turned into a background prop for a Lost Woods stage.
SSB seems like a fine handheld title to me. It can be a very pick-up-and-play type of game which is a great fit for the 3DS.
Also I have a 3DS and no plans for a WiiU...
I currently don't have a Wii U and no plans to be getting one any time soon so I'll stick with getting the 3ds version. Besides I think it's a good idea to have both.
And quite possibly at least a few stages that are the same between both so you can have cross platform smash outs
I wish they'd do like Sony did with All Stars Battle Royale and have it be a cross-buy if you pick up the Wii U version but there's no way of that happening.

Well they aren't really the same game. Sony was doing that for games that were practically identical on both consoles.
