Wait...PUBG tournament?
How can they let early access game have their own tournament?

Do you know that this is actually at least the 2nd tournament?

Seems like it'd be a fair bit more upsetting if big money was on the line and your match was ruined by a pretty awful bug or something.

To be fair, big bugs happen in CSGO and OW tournaments.

Because Early Access is just a free "You can't complain, it's in beta!" card while the company is still allowed to do anything from actually selling full fledged DLC (ARK) or going retail, as in, actual boxed copies of the game in the store for consoles and PC (Space Engineers) with no indication that it's an Early Access title.
Anyway, as much as I hate the e-sport culture, I can't understand how PUBG tournaments can be a thing if the game is so random in it's loot spawns. At least CSGO and Overwatch are consistent and dependent on the player and not random chance (if we ignore weapon spray)
Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds is a stupid thing to have in a tournament. Between random loot and absolutely awful netcode with maximum jank, the winner is more likely to be determined by random chance and luck than skill.
oh man PUBG was a trainwreck yesterday. Not only was it not exciting to watch, it was twitchy and jittery since it was running at like 20-25fps on the absolute monster PCs they have there
