On my laptop, no matter what the game or the framerate, whenever I move the mouse or press a key, there is a split-second delay before the game responds to the action. This does not happen when doing anything else on this computer.

Model: Lenovo X201 Tablet
CPU: Intel Core i7 620LM 2.0GHZ
Graphics: Intel GMA HD(Computer don't list anything more specific)
RAM: 4GB DDR3
OS: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit
I'm not entirely sure if this will help, but have you disabled v-sync?
Vsync is disabled. This even happens in games where the framerate rarely exceeds 30.
