You copy and paste the link from your computer itself.

An example would be C://Users//Mr.Zombie//MyPictures//siren.gif

Turns into this:

[IMG]http://i.imgur.com/Vj5EZBk.gif[/IMG]

You put the URL of your image in between the tags.

Place the link to the image, in url format, (hosted on an image hosting site like imgur) between img tags.

You guys want good posters from the newly joined, yet whenever somebody genuinely asks for help you give no constructive support, and then the cycle of shitty posts continue.

Find the URL of the image you want to embed, I'll use the wiki logo for an example:
[URL]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/meta/0/08/Wikipedia-logo-v2_1x.png[/URL] (You could upload an image from your computer to a website like Imgur and it will supply the [B]direct[/B] URL)

So take that URL and place it in [B][img][/img][/B] or tags and it will display. The [B][t][/B] tag is for large images that would be too big for a post, so it displays a thumbnail instead.

Image tag example:
[IMG]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/meta/0/08/Wikipedia-logo-v2_1x.png[/IMG]

Thumbnail example:
[t]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/0/0e/Wikipedia-logo-v2-ml_print.png[/t]

If you reply/quote a post, the editor displays how somebody has formatted their post if you click the advanced editor. It will show the tags they have used.

How to upload images and post them on forums with BB code.

Step 1.

Take your image that you want to upload

[IMG]http://puu.sh/6sNf5.jpg[/IMG]

Step 2.

Go to a file hosting website, like imgur and upload your image.

Step 3.

Copy the image url from imgur by right clicking the image and choosing copy image url or image location.

(If you are using internet explorer you will have to copy the url to the side shown here.)

Step 4.

Post the image on the forum by clicking the "Add image" button and paste your link that you copied earlier into there by hitting CTRL + V or right clicking and choosing paste.

Now hit "Go Advanced" to see if your image displays correctly.

If it does, go ahead and hit submit reply.

You can also use [url=Puush.me]Puush[/url] to upload images and make snapshots on your desktop/game. It's definitly faster.
It's user-friendly too.
