So, this facepunch user, Venn177/Venn178 had some spare RAM from when he upgraded and had it listed in the Hardware Trading thread (That I can no longer find...)
I sent him a message about it through PM

We then agreed to talk on Skype, and we decided that I would buy him Deus Ex HR and he would pay the shipping.

Well, he will no longer talk to me and has removed me from Skype. I have sent him my address and Personal cell phone multiple times, and he refuses to do anything about it.

Now what?
Sounds like he pulled a fast one :/
Stupid move on your part my friend
Obviously he scammed you.
Let's track him down and order him millions of pizzas. Either that or contact Steam support and get the game removed from his account.
Ouch OP- you're in luck though. I believe hes a frequent poster, and this'll tarnish his reputation as a poster here. If not getting him banned.. PM a mod about it aswell.
I feel bad for you OP.
Well, mate, you botched this one. Remember, don't trust anyone, ya never know when they'll turn on ya.
I just don't know what to do next. I even wrote articles for his website, Branching Dialogue. I got caught up with work and I told him that, so I kinda left the BD guys. Some of his friends I get along with fine, like TD and Mombasa, I was in a skype call with all of them when Venn was AFK and when he came back he started screaming and kicked me from the call, Mombasa tried to pull me back several times but Venn was persistent.
I actually Respected this guy, or at least, I did.
Get back at him by sexing his significant other, jk. Just contact a mod on FP and hope for the best.
This happened in December... have you been on his ass about it?

Well, the Skype picture says he's been asking for several months.
wow what a fucking dickweed.
what an asshole, his last activity was something like 9 hours ago so he's still around
I'm going to leave nasty messages on his profile!
I thought he's a frequent poster here..
Sadly, this is one of the major problems with the Internet, you can't trust anyone.
Though, I'm interested to see how Venn reacts to this thread.
As for what to do, there isn't much you can do except see if this thread pushes him to do something about it.
Or an mod can permaban.
This was done outside of Facepunch though.
Darkdeath Evilman (aka mombassa) is a mutual friend of theirs, you can even check on steam. This sounds like an obvious ploy to get him perma'd.
Oh lord I remember you guys making that deal in skype chat, it was quite a while ago though.
Oh and you spelled my name wrong damn you.

I don't see how you come to that conclusion after finding out they have a mutual friend. ( when OP even stated that he liked some of Venn's friends. )
I guess the point is they know each other, so this is a personal dispute.
Trust me venn is around.

I agree with this post.
From what I can tell, venn had several months to give you the ram. There's no excuse.
A deal's a deal. Lynch the motherfucker.
What type is it? I might be able to send you some spares I have laying around.
Also cam I miss you we never talk anymooore...
I miss you too Cam come back to me Cam.
DDR3 1333. But I didn't (and still don't) have a motherboard compatible, I had one picked out though. At this point, I'd take whatever I can get, but you are in no way responsible for what happened, nor do you owe me.
I know that feel bro.
That is the problem with buying stuff over the internet, I was scammed as well not long ago.
always use a neutral middleman for this type of thing
tough luck
you should link us his profile so we could yell at him
next time use paypal. Venn178 was selling you a product. if you used paypal you could have issued a chargeback and gotten your money back. Steam doesn't work because Steam considers itself a gift, not a fucking method of payment.
