They're planning to do that after their final release for A2, which I'm guessing will be later this year or next year.

This is literally one of the oldest running mods(Along with Invasion 1944) for the ARMA series, it's been around since Operation Flashpoint. But it's kind of a shame that doesn't get as much attention as Invasion 1944, ACE, or Cold War Rearmed 2.
