Afternoon :v:
I've recently installed Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit and I am going to go on a bit of an install rampage.
Which free applications do you use which increase goodness in your life? Stuff which makes you work better, play games better, browse better, download better.
Also, any tweaking that would be nice for Windows 7? I've already created a custom library for Work (as opposed to Documents, which I use for my personal files) and Games, for easy access to game folders which stops me from having to find it in Program Files.
Thanks in advance :)

Just checked it out, looks nice :)
Can I put it on the bottom to replace the Windows 7 bar thing?
You can't remove the superbar and why would you want to? I use autohide Rocketdock in conjunction with an autohide superbar.

Autohide, that's a good idea. I just don't see the point in having the taskbar down there when I use RocketDock to do things.

There's no x64 version.
Why would you even use Rocket Dock with Windows 7? You can just put applications on the taskbar

Well, it looks kinda nice :v:

Because the superbar is small and I'd rather not have the 20 or so programs I put on Rocketdock on there, because shit would get all piled up as soon as I open anything. I don't use the combining windows thing.

So? It still works.
...that too! :P
Also type msconfig into the search box and shut down as many startup programs as you can.

Wow, that doesn't look like the OS X dock or anything. >_>
* Please note that Windows XP x64 Edition, Windows Vista 64-bit Editions, Windows 7 64-bit Editions, and alternate shells are not yet supported.
My Cousin has this and it seems quite useful.

Oooooooh, nice. I'm OCD about my computer (actually, about most things) and that is relevant to my interests.

Winamp is my favourite! Also, try out F.Lux, it will make your eyes happy.
Thunderbird is also a nice E-mail client

SMPlayer is installed thanks to you! :D
I had a look at MediaMonkey but I don't like the way it looks. I know that's shallow but it's HOW I ROLL. I think I'll stick with FooBar

F.Lux is pretty cool, not sure if I need it, but installed nonetheless.
Thunderbird! Thankyou so much for mentioning this, I've been needing a Gmail client for ages. /hug

Oh and Jing. You can take screenshots of your desktop or record video of what your computer screen is showing and upload it instantly to www.screencast.com which is essentially just like photobucket. The link to the images is auto-pasted to your clipboard.
Well, most things you need have been posted here but:

I've found JDiskReport to be very useful when cleaning up my hard drive. Shows me where all my disk space is going.
Dropbox is a great program if you use more than one computer. Even if you don't it is still a really nice way to backup files.
