Hello,
As of last night, Ive had an issue when viewing facepunch on my mobile phone. Im not sure if this is the right section for this? I suppose itd depend on if it was on my end or the websites end.
Basically, text inside posts is now very large while everything else seems to be normal.
My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S2 i777 running 2.3.6, im browsing with Opera Mini 7.5.3.
Heres a picture showing the issue;

Text on all other sites appears to be normal, it seems to be just on facepunch
It's something to do with Opera Mini's rendering, besides, why are you using Opera Mini? Are you trying to save data usage? If not, you should just stick to the default browser, Chrome, or at least Opera Mobile
One thing I dont understand is why this changed without any updates?
I use Opera Mini because, so far, ive had better luck with it over everything else. I also need to save data. Im restricted to 17Gb of data per month on my wifi, and 2Gb per month over 4g.
According to Opera, in the couple months ive had this phone, its saved me about 6.5Gb of data transfer
Well you could always try using the Desktop mode under advanced. It's the rendering mode, or you could switch it back to Mobile mode if you've got it on Desktop. Always could try turning your phone sideways. Landscape presents better viewing as our eyes are seperated mostly by width not height.
Im on Opera Mini, which doesnt have the Desktop option. Ill try downloading regular Opera Mobile, but the data saving feature is something i really need. Landscape mode helps when the text is blown up like this, but before, portrait worked great
The reason why it changed without updating is because Opera Mini doesn't render the webpage on your phone, it does it on a computer and then sends a compress image of the website to your phone, which is much smaller. Opera must have changed some code on their end, I can't really think of a way of fixing this if there's nothing in the settings
Today there was an update released for Opera Mini that fixed the issue. While i had the issue, i tried regular Opera Mobile. It has much better script support, which is very nice. The only downside is, no matter how i configured it, my max data savings was 15%, while Mini saves me 75%.
Yeah Mini is there solely for data-saving, unfortunately it doesn't have as many features though
