My problem is that whenever I'm watching a video on YouTube, I can't enlarge it at all (the size setting between small and fullscreen). I click the button for it but nothing happens, and it's getting really annoying now.
It has been like this for some weeks now, I thought it was just a temporary problem but I guess not. I don't have a clue about what I should be looking for to fix the problem.

Are you using Chrome? It's most likely an update to the browser or flash which has caused it, but the problem with Chrome is that it uses its own version of flash. If you are using Chrome, type about:plugins into the address bar you might be able to enable another version of flash.
If you're using another browser, uninstall flash and reinstall

In Chrome I went into 'about:plugins' like you said, and in there were two listings for Flash. The first one said "PPAPI (out-of-process)" under 'Type' so I disabled that, and now it's working like normal.
