Oh, neat! Sniper Elite is one of my favourite series of games that are almost good but not quite.
Or anywhere else in time.
Something set during the Korean war could be good, and it's practically unexplored territory for games.
Sniper Elite, for as basic as it may be, is a super fun series with really awesome features.

A modern day Sniper Elite could be really fun though. I'd like to see something around the 2000 - 2005 era though.

Why not have it be snipers through the ages? Start at, say, War of 1812 and move along with technology and styles of fighting changing, but the "Will of the Sniper never changes" or some Gruff McEdgepants quote like that
