• Gmail Filter Not Filtering

So I use my Gmail to backup my SMS with SMS Backup + on my Smasung Galaxy S. I tell SMS Backup to apply the label SMS to those messages. Then, I have Gmail filters for my three main friends. with xxxxxxxxxx@unknown.email (thats what Gmail says the email is). So, I test the filter, and it works. The problem is, once it starts a new thread, it doesn't apply the label automatically on new threads (every 100 messages). But, if I go to edit the filter, and it does a search, it comes up as something that should be labeled. So why doesn't gmail apply my filters on new threads unless I do it manually?
I'm guessing it has something to do with the nonstandard email address.
I'm guessing it has something to do with the nonstandard email address.
Yeah but it does it if you edit the filter. Also, it shouldn't make a difference since it is just matching strings and doing something if the condition is met.
Do wildcards work? try xxxxxxxxxx@* or something like that.
Nope doing @* doesn't work but just the number xxxxxxxxxx filters. but only if you do it manually. It just won't do it automatically :sigh:
