Ok, so. Just recently, two days ago, my internet started disconnecting for no reason at all every 5-20 minutes at random, even when I'm not even doing. To fix it I have to unplug my ethernet cable from the back of my computer and plug it back in.
Specs:
OS: Windows 7, 64 bit
Processor: AMD Athlon 2.6Ghz Dual Core
Memory: 4 gigs
Graphics: ATI Radeon 4870 HD
Motherboard: NVidia 8800
Power Supply: Silencer 610 Watts
Router: Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router Model-WRT54G(I run an ethernet cable to it since the wireless driver wouldn't work on my computer before)
Modem: Paradyne
Motherboard: NVidia 8800
Say what? :raise:
Also try going here Control Panel\Network and Sharing Center and clicking "diagnose and repair"

It's worked for me in the past.
