My dad had recently got a mobile modem and now he wants other people to connect through his laptop using a ad-hoc network, but he has some issues... If he connects to the Internet by wifi, other people can connect and use the network retrasmited by his pc, but if he connects by the mobile modem, incoming ad-hoc connections are refused.
Do you have any idea of why this happen or how to fix it?
thanks in advance!
You will need to go into network connections and allow the mobile modem to be shared.
Try forwarding the connection. There's a feature in Windows to allow you to forward the connection to another computer.
Ad hoc networks are bastards. Also incredibly insecure.
